SPSIM is a biennial, international conference on the use of Standardized Patients and Simulation in undergraduate and postgraduate education of health professionals. The topic of SPSIM 2017 is

Main conference topics are:

• New approaches in teaching and learning with patient actors (standardized and simulated patients), simulators, hybrid simulation, serious games, and virtual reality
• Interprofessional training and team training
• Effective debriefing and feedback
• Improving patient safety

• All faculty and clinicians involved in the education of healthcare professionals
• Medical doctors and allied health professionals interested in this new approach of training and assessment

Credits

• The conference has been accredited by the Swiss Institute for Postgraduate and Continuous Medical Education SIWF. Participation is rewarded with 6 credit points per day (12 points in total).
